Understanding credit card refunds and reversals

If you receive a purchase refund or purchase reversal, this will reduce the overall balance of your credit card. However, you still have to pay your monthly minimum payment, as purchase refunds/reversals are considered an account credit, and not a payment to your credit card.

If your credit card balance is at $0 and you receive a refund/reversal, that credit will be applied to future purchases.
