Sending messages in the BNZ app

You can get answers to many of your banking questions from Āwhina, our virtual assistant. If needed, Āwhina can refer you to a specialist banker and provide an estimated timeframe for their reply.

  1. Log in to the BNZ app.
  2. Go to Menu (the three horizontal lines in the top left corner).
  3. Select Contact, then under Messages select Start new, or view messages.
  4. Select New or Start new message. When prompted, enter your message.

Archived messages

You can still access any conversations you had with a banker through the previous secure messaging function.

  1. Log in to the BNZ app.
  2. Go to Menu (the three horizontal lines in the top left corner).
  3. Select Contact, then under Messages select Archived messages.
