Sending messages in Internet Banking

You can get answers to many of your banking questions from Āwhina, our virtual assistant. If needed, Āwhina can refer you to a specialist banker and provide an estimated timeframe for their reply.

Note: This feature is not available for business customers using Internet Banking for Business.

  1. Log in to Internet Banking.
  2. Click on Menu in the top left corner of the main page.
  3. Select the Contact icon from the bottom left of the menu. 
  4. Select New or Start new message. When prompted, enter your message.
