Suspending cards from a lost or stolen Android device

If your Google Pay-enabled device is lost or stolen, you can call us to have the card deleted from your device - your physical card will continue to work as normal. 

Call 0800 735 901 or from overseas, call +64 4 473 5901 (you can call collect from a landline).

Since Google Pay doesn't store your card details on your phone, anyone who finds or steals your phone won't be able to access that information, even if it's unlocked.

Find, lock, or erase your Android device

You can also find, lock, or erase your Android device using the Android Device Manager.

If you lock your device, Google Pay can't be used. If your device can't be contacted, your payment information can be removed so no one can access it. If you find your device, you can unlock it and add your payment information again to use Google Pay.
