Changing your prescribed investor rate (PIR)

To update your PIR in internet banking:

1. From the main screen, click on Menu
2. Click on Settings in the bottom-right corner
3. Next to the Your details heading, click Edit
4. Scroll down to where your PIR is displayed and use the drop-down menu to select a different PIR rate.
5. Click Save.

Note: If you don’t notify us of a PIR and tell us what your IRD number is, then any PIE taxable income will automatically be taxed at the highest PIR rate, which is 28%.
